Studio Construction

Managed the build of green screen studios, filming spaces, and technical setups at institutions including Stanford University, Columbia University, Northwestern University, MIT, NYU, UT Austin, the University of Michigan, UC Irvine, UC Berkeley, the University of Toronto, INSEAD, and Cambridge Judge. I also oversaw partner production studios on technical setup and collaborated with sound and video engineers to build temporary filming environments in remote locations—such as conference venues, hotel ballrooms, and executives’ homes—especially during the COVID-19 lockdown. This included providing recommendations and resources for cameras, lighting, and production equipment. Over the last 4 years, I have successfully built more than 10 studios for Emeritus productions.

 

Operational Oversight

Supervised and directed filming crews and technical workflows to ensure seamless execution and brand compliance. Trained crew members and studio staff to produce Emeritus branded-branded content to a consistently high standard.

Diagnosed spatial constraints at university facilities and recommended tailored equipment packages to mitigate technical limitations. Successfully designed and configured studio layouts for filming and digital productions across top global institutions.

Developed and implemented technical solutions that elevated the cinematic production value of all outputs. Troubleshot workflow issues and identified corrective steps to streamline transitions and handoffs from production to post-production.

SOP Implementation

Developed and implemented the technical specifications across all collaborative teams within Emeritus Global Design Operations. Standardized production(filming) and post-production (editing and encoding) technical specs, revamped production and post-production workflows and improved efficiency—reducing total post-production delivery time by 30%.
