Bridging Creative Directions
with Operational Efficiency

I've spent the last 20 years completely immersed in the world of visual design, video production, events, and media development. It's been an absolute blast managing complex projects across various environments—from traditional live settings to cutting-edge digital, virtual, and hybrid spaces. Seriously, the variety is what keeps it exciting!
On that note, I have to say I'm a total geek about learning new technologies and tools. Getting a hang of the latest gear or software is genuinely thrilling to me—I'm all about that spirit of never-ending learning and acquiring new knowledge! Lately, I've been drawn to exploring and utilizing AI tools to level up our creative workflows and boost operational efficiency in every direction.
I've had the privilege of seeing over 1000 private and corporate events and productions from start to finish. Whether I'm wearing the hat of a producer, videographer, director, designer, or planner, I just love digging in and helping bring a vision to life.
My real passion lies in bridging the creative idea with the actual execution. I enjoy the challenge of leading different teams through high-stakes programs, figuring out technical production puzzles, and driving initiatives that actually deliver results. I've also gotten to dive into branding conceptualization and online/event marketing strategies, which is a whole other layer of fun! I've been fortunate to work with some amazing companies over the years, including Google, Alibaba Group, Coldwell Banker, Compass Real Estate, Out & Equal, Keller Williams Realty, and many more.
One of the most rewarding parts of my career has been working with the non-profit sector. I've partnered with more than a hundred non-profit organizations in the San Francisco Bay Area to create all kinds of meaningful content. This includes everything from long-format television programs, PSAs, non-profit commercials, infomercials, and educational series, to specialized programs like medical panel discussions and nonpartisan election debates. Collaborating with organizations like the SF Department of Public Health, League of Women Voters, ARC of San Francisco, and the Craigslist Foundation has been incredibly fulfilling.
I got to produce a documentary film segment for Spark on PBS way back in 2006, and a short film tied to the beautiful book, Leap Into The Blue, published in 2013.

My Thinking + Strategy
It's always critical to identify the existing or potential challenges, problems, obstacles, and risks before designing the methodologies and steps to solve the problems or establishing new approaches accordingly.
Identifying Problems and Strategy
It's not uncommon to handle multiple and simultaneous complex projects. The most efficient way is to prioritize the high-level tasks and then decide on the little steps for making sure resources are allocated or shuffled in the right rhythm and in the right spots at the accurate timing.
Tasks Prioritization
Appropriate, timely, efficient, effective, and on-point communications are always required, but I'm always conscious about the tone, people's reactions and perceptions, personalities, and parties involved, and what kind of predictable consequences I'm expecting when I make a decision on "how" to communicate with a client, stakeholder, collaborator or processor.
Communications
I always believe that only the highest quality of work should be produced and presented. It requires my undivided attention to all details, a never-ending curiosity to keep acquiring new knowledge and updated technologies, humility in listening to different opinions and accepting constructive criticism, thorough and repeated tests and reviews to ensure the process yields the best outcome.
Quality, Quality, Quality
Something more
about me on the side...
I have been involved in supporting survivors of human trafficking in Cambodia. Working with a local church and a partner organization, I went to Cambodia in 2024 and volunteered at community centers, local school and shelters, witnessing firsthand the struggles of women and children whose lives have been deprived of basic necessities like healthy food, proper clothing, shoes, and education. Some children and young women live in despair and danger every day, even being sold by their own families for little money, and seeing this broke my heart.
Experiencing their pain and resilience made me profoundly aware of the privileges we often take for granted. Even in small ways, I want to bring hope and contribute whatever I can, using my skills, resources, and voice to support those in need.
For me, this work is about standing in empathy with others, amplifying their voices, and creating opportunities to make a meaningful difference—turning my abundance into action that uplifts and empowers those whose lives have been so deeply challenged.
I have created a short documentary to show it in the local church and organization for raising awareness after my trip in 2024. My hope and plan is to visit again in the next year or so.
