Crew Assignment and Resource Management
Managed and assigned staffing for corporate events and creative productions involving 1–20 crew members per show. Supported Google’s major external-facing events—including SVP+ All-Hands, Annual Shareholder Meetings, and Quarterly Earnings Calls—as well as internal flagship events such as TGIF, Nooglers, Google I/O, Google Cloud Next, and various anniversary and holiday celebrations. Crew roles included broadcast video engineers, audio engineers, technicians, and operators.
With a deep understanding of technical specifications, event requirements, and individual crew capabilities, I delegated staffing based on thorough knowledge of each event space, broadcast configuration, and technical needs. Many events ran simultaneously with complex requirements, demanding strategic parallel resourcing. I implemented a customized resource-planning matrix to solve crewing challenges. During my tenure at Google, I successfully staffed and managed more than 1,000 large and small events, averaging 15–20 events per week.
Technical Event Operations
During my early tenure with ASG at Google, I operated across a wide range of events, managing stage setups, lighting, audio, camera systems, switcher operations, and on-site technical consulting and troubleshooting.
Technical Consultation and Client Relations
Worked within Google’s internal event request system (GEMS) to design intake workflows and provide preliminary consultation for internal teams. Guided clients through technical requirements, advised on tools and setup, recommended best practices, and coordinated run-throughs and rehearsals. Collaborated with stakeholders during pre-production on logistics planning and communicated mitigation strategies with event production leads when issues arose.
Cross-Team Collaborations and Corporate Communications
Collaborated with cross-functional teams across Google—including Marketing/Ads, People Operations, Legal, Finance, Corporate Engineering, YouTube, Android, and various product groups. Ensuring alignment on event goals and helping teams achieve measurable outcomes remained a top priority in every engagement.
Event and Project Management
Created and maintained production calendars, tracked progress, and monitored timelines. Worked with resource and operations managers to train technicians for evolving event needs and emerging Google event formats and trends. Managed event data for internal evaluation, employee engagement metrics, and production resource utilization. Oversaw maintenance scheduling and SOPs for all event spaces.
SOP Development and Implementation
Developed SOPs for executive events scheduling, crewing, and event calendar management. Created and maintained executive tech sheets, run-of-show(ROS) documents, production specifications, and operational SOPs.
